We're just days away now from welcoming Ridge's little brother into the family and I'm getting pretty excited. Hard to believe that I'm going to be the father of two boys. I'm seeing lots of camping trips, fishing rods, Black Cat firecrackers, Braves games, deer rifles, tree houses, Neosporin and Band-Aids in my future. And I absolutely can not wait to introduce my boys to the Original Trilogy (I think I'll hide the Prequels from them as long as I can). And of course I'm looking forward to my first 2-on-1 light-saber duel, in which I assume I'll play the role of a Sith Lord battling to young Jedi Knights.
But as excited as I am about the future, I can't help but feel somewhat anxious as well. Lots of pressure on Dads these days. Hopefully fatherhood treats me somewhat better than H.I McDunnough.
