My big boy had his very first soccer game on Saturday. I was was really proud of him, while not the fastest, biggest, or most athletic kid out there, he got out there and played hard. Most of all he had fun, but I do think he got more of a kick out of wearing his brand new shin-guards (which he called his Iron Man armor) Though no official score was kept, several goals were scored by both teams. Ridge didn't get a goal but he says he's going to keep trying.

(Colton was not impressed by the sport of soccer at all and fell asleep within ten minutes. I think football or wrestling is going to be more of his cup of tea.)
