The Ridge-Daddy Union Pacific Railroad

Ridge and I may not be part of the Army Corps of Engineers but dang if we don't build some pretty impressive rail lines.

We bought Ridge a new train table the other day and it took a while for him to get used to it. Actually that's probably an understatement-he had a full blown meltdown when we showed it to him. While he watched TV we secretly moved his old train table from the playroom into his bedroom and moved the newer and bigger table in its place. This didn't have the desired effect we were hoping for. Ridge ran upstairs in tears and single handedly tried to move his old table back downstairs. On could say our elsest son is not an Obama supporter- he HATES change of any kind.

He eventually calmed down and after I showed him that we could design new tracks on the table he warmed up to it. Now we can't get him to stop playing on it.

"You want to play trains with me?" is his new phrase of the moment. And of course we can't say "no."

All aboard!
